A czy wy planujecie w bieżącym roku lub kolejnych latach jakieś akwizycje?
Mam nadzieję, że w tym roku uda nam się przeprowadzić jedną czy dwie akwizycje. Rozmawiamy z małymi firmami konsultingowymi, butikowymi agencjami, które specjalizują się w e-commerce, data science czy programach lojalnościowych. Celem jest kupno unikalnych kompetencji, a nie zwiększenie udziałów rynkowych.
Powiedział Pan, że jako Future Mind dostrzegacie rosnący trend związany z zapotrzebowaniem na aplikacje wewnątrzorganizacyjne, służące do komunikacji na zasadzie substytutu intranetu, który zostaje przeniesiony do aplikacji mobilnej. Czy to ważny kierunek rozwoju?
To nie jest nowy rynek, ale trochę się zmienił paradygmat tego, co nazywamy oprogramowaniem korporacyjnym. Wcześniej takie oprogramowanie na przeciętnej wielkości smartfonie nigdy nie wyglądało dobrze, nie było user-friendly. Teraz podejście zarządów do takich narzędzi zaczyna się zmieniać. Jeśli ktoś korzysta z estetycznej i łatwej w obsłudze aplikacji Żabki, a jednocześnie jest pracownikiem tej sieci, to nie czuje się dobrze, kiedy aplikacja dla konsumenta wygląda perfekcyjnie, a jego wewnętrzne narzędzie do raportowania to jakiś… informatyczny bohomaz. Zaczyna się coraz bardziej liczyć nie tylko wizerunek na linii firma-klient, ale też na linii firma-pracownik.
Czy coraz bardziej popularne platformy niskokodowe to zagrożenie dla waszego biznesu?
Ja się ich nie boję. Mamy w ofercie konsulting, product design, zajmujemy się obszarami KPI u klienta, a więc osiąganiem przez niego wyznaczonych celów biznesowych i tak dalej. Z drugiej strony wielu firm nie stać na aplikację mobilną z prawdziwego zdarzenia, bo to wydatek rzędu minimum 1,5 miliona złotych. Dlatego nawet znane marki i znane sieci nie zawsze mogą sobie na takie narzędzie pozwolić. W mojej ocenie platformy low code/no code to niezłe rozwiązanie dla małych organizacji, które dopiero się rozwijają i chcą popróbować działania w nowych kanałach sprzedaży. Wtedy mogą stosunkowo tanim kosztem stworzyć aplikację sprzedażową, jeśli nie chcą rozpoczynać długiego i drogiego projektu z wykorzystaniem firm zewnętrznych. Ale generalnie uważam, że poważny, złożony produkt dla milionów użytkowników nie może być stworzony w prosty sposób. Front-end można zrobić łatwo samemu, ale pojawią się problemy, takie jak na przykład niewystarczająca szybkość działania na wszystkich możliwych urządzeniach lub też brak możliwości obsłużenia wielu istotnych SDK.
Przykładowo?
Podam przykład firmy Adyen, która niedawno weszła mocniej na polski rynek i zajmuje się płatnościami. Mają najbardziej zaawansowane komponenty płatnicze ze wszystkich znanych mi operatorów. Mają biblioteki, które się osadza w aplikacjach płatniczych. I jeżeli na przykład następuje aktualizacja iOS’a czy Androida, to aktualizacja ich SDK-ów ma miejsce odpowiednio wcześniej przed wypuszczeniem nowej wersji systemu. Adyen jest w stałym kontakcie z Apple’em i Google’em, więc nie ma tam prawa coś nie zadziałać. Jeśli ktoś zdecyduje się sam stworzyć produkt na platformie niskokodowej, to bardzo szybko może się okazać, że po aktualizacji systemu operacyjnego dana biblioteka jest bezużyteczna. I potem klienci muszą czekać tydzień, dwa czy trzy, aż ktoś to poprawi. Jeden z operatorów hulajnóg w Polsce miał taki właśnie problem z płatnościami po aktualizacji iOS-a, bo ich aplikacja była napisana w nienatywnej technologii. To konkretna strata finansowa i wizerunkowa.
Na rynku e-commerce też coraz bardziej liczy się wiedza, biorąc pod uwagę jego tempo rozwoju.
Zgadza się. Inwestycja w e-commerce to nie jest tylko inwestycja w silnik i marketing. Trzeba umieć opracować precyzyjną strategię działania, policzyć koszty pozyskania, koszty zwrotu, umieć wykorzystać w praktyce koncepcję Customer Data Platform czy silnik rekomendacji produktowych. I w tym między innymi upatruję szansy na dalszy rozwój Future Mind jako dostawcy z kompleksowym know-how. Chcemy transformować całe biznesy, a nie tylko budować produkty cyfrowe jak ma to miejsce dzisiaj.
