]]> Dyrektor NASK Wojciech Krzemieniecki został odwołany ze stanowiska przez ministra cyfryzacji. Swoją funkcję pełnił od 2016 r. NASK nie informuje o powodach dymisji. Według nieoficjalnych informacji jest ona związana z problemami z przejęciem przez państwo zarządzania systemem viaTOLL (tzw. e-myto). Na początku listopada br. wygasa umowa w tej sprawie z Kapsch Telematic Services. Spółka od 7 lat nadzoruje system, który zapewnił już 10 mld zł wpływów do budżetu.

Obowiązki szefa NASK przejął tymczasowo Krzysztof Silicki, związany z instytutem od 1992 r. W latach 2017-2018 pełnił funkcję podsekretarza stanu w ministerstwie cyfryzacji, odpowiedzialnego za obszar cyberbezpieczeństwa. Kierował procesem tworzenia ustawy o krajowym systemie bezpieczeństwa cyfrowego.

W 1996 r. Krzysztof Silicki zorganizował CERT Polska – pierwszy w kraju zespół reagujący na zagrożenia w Internecie. Był również pomysłodawcą odbywającej się co roku konferencji Secure – pierwszej w Polsce dotyczącej bezpieczeństwa teleinformatycznego. Jako dyrektor techniczny inicjował i nadzorował w NASK powstawanie kolejnych generacji sieci internetowej i projektów bezpieczeństwa (jak Arakis). Współtworzył strategię i plan działania unijnej instytucji ENISA w dziedzinie bezpieczeństwa sieci i informacji.
