]]> Platforma sklepowa IdoSell (IAI) rozpoczyna współpracę z jednym z największych na świecie mobilnych marketplace – Wish. Polak twórcą potentata

Wish został założony w 2010 r. w San Francisco przez Piotra Szulczewskiego (wcześniej był inżynierem Google’a) i Danny’ego Zhanga. W ciągu dekady urósł do rangi jednej z największych globalnych platform e-commerce. Dociera do konsumentów w ponad 100 krajach. W 2019 r. Wish okazał się najczęściej na świecie pobieraną aplikacją do zakupów internetowych. Miesięcznie platforma ma ponad 100 mln aktywnych użytkowników. Dzienna sprzedaż to ok. 1,8 mln przedmiotów. Firma twierdzi, że na platformie działa ponad pół miliona sprzedawców.

W 2020 r. przychody spółki, której CEO pozostaje Polak pochodzący z Warszawy, wyniosły 2,5 mld dol., o 34 proc. więcej niż rok wcześniej. Na początku 2021 r. Wish wszedł na giełdowy rynek NASDAQ.

Chcą konsolidować polski rynek e-commerce

Platforma IdoSell w minionym roku osiągnęła poziom GMV (wartość sprzedanych produktów) na poziomie 12,5 mld zł przy ok. 50 mln transakcji.

Spółka kontrolowana od 2018 r. przez MCI Capital od jakiegoś czasu stawia na rozwój sprzedaży międzynarodowej m.in. poprzez integracje z Frisbo, ApplePay oraz Amazonem.

Ambicją IdoSell jest też konsolidacja europejskiego rynku e-commerce. Pierwszy krok w tę stronę polska firma wykonała pod koniec lipca, kiedy to przejęła pakiet większościowy węgierskiego SaaS-u Shoprenter.
