Do połowy 2012 r. ma być ich ponad 1 tys., w planie są premiery w kolejnych ośrodkach. Według dostawcy potencjał rynku jest ogromny. W całym kraju jeździ ponad 200 tys. taksówek. Tylko w stolicy jest ok. 8 tys. pojazdów, które generują ok. 50 mln zł miesięcznego obrotu. 

iTaxi umożliwia zamówienie taksówki bezpośrednio ze smartphona z systemem iOS lub Android. Trzeba uruchomić darmową aplikację (która ma pojawić się wkrótce w Apple AppStore i Android Markecie), wskazać na interaktywnej mapie wybraną taksówkę i ją zamówić. System przekazuje wezwanie bezpośrednio do kierowcy. Opłatę za zlecenie z systemu ponosi taksówkarz. Po podpisaniu umowy z iTaxi otrzymuje odpowiednie urządzenie z oprogramowaniem. Pasażerowie płacą za kurs zgodnie ze stanem licznika czy też cennikiem korporacji, do której należy pojazd.
