SurfRight opracował technikę zapobiegania, wykrywania i naprawiania skutków ataków typu ‘zero-day exploit’, jak również neutralizacji innych zagrożeń. Wykorzystuje funkcje typu ‘anty-exploit’, która w czasie rzeczywistym wykrywa szkodliwe oprogramowanie oraz zapobiega jego działaniu w pamięci urządzenia oraz innym nadużyciom, które umożliwiają uruchomienie złośliwego kodu. Oferta SurfRight zawiera również technikę antyszpiegowską oraz funkcje zwiększające ochronę przed atakami typu ransomware (programy, które szyfrują dane w komputerze użytkownika i żądają okupu za odblokowanie).

Sophos rozpoczął już integrację produktów SurfRight z własnymi zabezpieczeniami urządzeń końcowych. Po ich połączeniu skonsolidowane produkty będą dostępne także poprzez partnerów SurfRight (na świecie jest ich 15 tys.). Innowacje tej firmy mają zwiększyć szybkość wykrywania i reagowania na zagrożenia.
