Zmiany personalne są związane z przejęciem od Comarchu przez CPI utrzymania elektronicznej Platformy Usług Administracji Publicznej – ePUAP oraz – według RP – z problemami, jakie pojawiły się przy tej okazji. Od 1 stycznia br. jednostką odpowiedzialną za funkcjonowanie ePUAP jest Wydział Utrzymania Systemów Informatycznych CPI. Po 5 latach outsourcowania decyzję w tej sprawie podjął szef resortu. Na ePUAP działa m.in. ewidencja działalności gospodarczej, system informatyczny ZUS, CEPiK (ewidencja pojazdów i kierowców). Centrum odpowiada m.in. za rozbudowę, utrzymanie, eksploatację, serwis i rozwój systemów informatycznych i teleinformatycznych. Przejęcie utrzymania przez CPI ma według rzecznika ministerstwa poprawić bezpieczeństwo i stabilność systemów.
