Tomasz Majcherek jest absolwentem Politechniki Wrocławskiej. Ukończył też studia executive MBA w ramach programu partnerskiego Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego i University of Illinois.

Przed objęciem stanowiska prezesa proALPHA Polska był dyrektorem sprzedaży w SAP Polska, odpowiedzialnym za sprzedaż rozwiązań dla branży produkcyjnej, handlowej i usługowej. Wcześniej, współpracował z firmą EY jako doradca w dziale transformacji IT. Był również związany z polskim oddziałem firmy Ericsson, gdzie realizował duże projekty infrastrukturalne i usługowe.
