Do Rady Polskiej Izby Informatyki i Telekomunikacji weszło czterech menedżerów. Skład uzupełniono na
zgromadzeniu członków PIIT 24 marca br.

Do Rady PIIT dołączyli:
• Andrzej Abramczuk, prezes i CEO, Netia
• Piotr Kaczmarek, Country Senior Officer, Nokia
• Dariusz Kwieciński, CEO Fujitsu Poland
• Paweł Sokołowski, dyrektor sprzedaży do sektora publicznego, Atos

Rada Izby jest najwyższym organem PIIT w okresie między zgromadzeniami. Liczy do 25 osób. Jej członkowie rady wybierają i odwołują ze swego grona władze, w tym przewodniczącego oraz 1 – 2 wiceprzewodniczących. Przewodniczącym Rady Izby jest obecnie Artur Wiza, wiceprezes Asseco Poland. Kadencja członków trwa 2 lata.

Rada zajmuje się m.in. uchwalaniem kierunków działania Izby oraz oceną ich realizacji, podejmowaniem decyzji o utworzeniu funduszy celowych, zatwierdzanie bilansu, rachunku zysków i strat i wiele in.

Polska Izba Informatyki i Telekomunikacji zrzesza 130 firm z sektora teleinformatycznego.
