]]> HPE zlikwidował europejski poziom zarządzania w związku z upraszczaniem struktury firmy – informuje IT Europa. Zmiana ma przyspieszyć podejmowanie decyzji i sprawić, że organizacja będzie bardziej elastyczna. Z HPE żegna się Andy Isherwood, dotychczasowy szef firmy w regionie EMEA.

"In mniej poziomów zarządzania między najwyższym kierownictwem a klientami, tym lepiej." – uzasadnia Phil Davis, który 1 listopada objął funkcję globalnego dyrektora sprzedaży HPE (wcześniej był szefem regionu Azji i Pacyfiku). Dodaje, że do niedawna HPE miało rozbudowaną strukturę odziedziczoną po HP (sprzed podziału firmy w 2015 r.), tak jak organizacja generująca 110 mld dol. obrotów. A HPE ma prawie 4 razy mniejsze przychody.
 
Zmiany następują w ramach inicjatywy HPE Next, która ma umożliwić oszczędności rzędu 1,5 mld dol. w ciągu 3 lat. W celu usprawnienia organizacji i ograniczenia kosztów HPE likwiduje m.in. kilkadziesiąt lokalnych biur w krajach, które nie mają kluczowego znaczenia dla biznesu firmy. Koncern zapowiedział także sprzedaż swojej siedziby w Palo Alto w Kalifornii.
