W takiej sytuacji można mieć pewność, że do przekazanych informacji nikt nieupoważniony nie ma dostępu. Według organizatorów konferencji obawy wzbudza sytuacja, w której pacjenci sami bezpośrednio łączą się z systemem. W tym przypadku nie ma gwarancji, że sieć jest odpowiednio chroniona.

– Nasze spotkanie ma pokazać, jak ważne jest zapewnienie pacjentom bezpiecznego dostępu do Internetu, a tym samy ochrony ich danych – mówi Joanna Gajewska, Dyrektor Generalny Contica Solutions.
