]]> Producent nie będzie już dokonywał zmian funkcjonalnych w NetWare, nie będzie dodawał nowych elementów czy udoskonaleń starej wersji produktu, a także nie będzie już możliwy dostęp do serwisu gwarancyjnego.

 

Użytkownicy systemów NetWare planujący dalsze korzystanie z tego systemu mogą wykupić przedłużenie wsparcia technicznego (Extended Support for NetWare 6.5) obowiązujące przez kolejne dwa lata. Dotyczy ono instalacji i konfiguracji NetWare 6.5 oraz możliwości zgłaszania nieograniczonej liczby incydentów pomocy technicznej w okresie od 8 marca 2010 r. do 7 marca 2012  r.

 

Opcja rozszerzonego wsparcia dla NetWare jest ponadto dostępna bezpłatnie dla wszystkich użytkowników systemu Open Enterprise Server posiadających aktualną standardową lub priorytetową asystę techniczną (Standard/Priority maintenance). Klienci, którzy nie są jeszcze gotowi na uaktualnienie NetWare do systemu Open Enterprise Server na platformie Linux, mogą dzięki wykupionej asyście zostać objęci wsparciem technicznym.
