]]> Rankingi Opineo.pl powstały w oparciu o opinie klientów o sklepach i transakcjach, wystawione w serwisie. Oceniają oni następujące kryteria: szybkość realizacji zamówienia, obsługę klienta, jakość zapakowania przesyłki oraz deklarują, czy poleciliby ten sklep internetowy swoim znajomym.

Ustalając kolejność w rankingach uwzględniono liczbę recenzji danego e-sklepu w 2014 r., ilość opinii w poprzednich latach i ogólną ocenę e-sklepu przez konsumentów na dzień 31 grudnia 2014 r. W ub.r. na Opineo.pl zamieszczono 1 mln opinii, w sumie jest ich w serwisie 5,3 mln. 

W kategorii mega sklepów, czyli detalistów o największej liczbie klientów i opinii, numerem 1 okazał się Morele.net. E-sklep był na topie także rok temu. Obecnie uzyskał wysoką ogólną ocenę, 35,81 pkt, znacznie wyprzedzając konkurencję. Drugi na liście Mall.pl miał 26,17 pkt.

W porównaniu z zestawieniem w ub.r. spadły Agito i Electro, które poprzednio były w pierwszej trójce. Do mega sklepów awansował natomiast OleOle, dotąd klasyfikowany wśród sprzedawców średniej wielkości.

Wśród sklepów średniej wielkości (mają mniej klientów niż najwięksi detaliści) w pierwszej trójce znalazły się North.pl, Drukuj24.pl i Centrumdruku.com.pl. Na 5 pozycji uplasował się Mediamarkt.pl, a na 12 Saturn.pl. Nie są one według Opineo mega skklepami, bo dostają dużo mniej recenzji niż liderzy (np. media Markt – 1,9 tys. w ub.r., a Morele – ponad 26 tys.). Zdaniem Opineo oba sklepy Media Saturna z dużą ostrożnością podchodzą do konsumentów w Internecie, najważniejsze dla nich są wielkopowierzchniowe hale w największych polskich miastach.

W gronie modych wilków – są to wysoko oceniane e-sklepy, ale mające mniej klientów niż duże i średnie – na topie znalazł się Omegasoft.pl. Kolejny raz w pierwszej trójce zmieścił się Kuzniewski.pl (nr 2). Na miejscu 3 jest Dellowo.pl. Na pozycji 7 w wśród młodych wilków znalazł się Sferis.

Do finału zakwalifikowało się blisko 250 sklepów. Według badania Opineo.pl ponad 45 proc. użytkowników serwisu przyznaje, że sprawdzając wiarygodność sklepu internetowego w pierwszej kolejności szuka o nim opinii.
