]]> Trend Micro poinformował o wprowadzeniu do oferty w III kwartale tego roku oprogramowania OfficeScan 10.5. Jest to aplikacja przystosowana do środowisk wirtualnych, wykorzystująca system zabezpieczeń Smart Protection Network, który wykrywa zagrożenia w chmurze. Nowy produkt został opracowany do ochrony punktów końcowych w infrastrukturze wirtualnych komputerów stacjonarnych (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure). Dzięki zintegrowaniu z systemami Citrix XenDesktop i VMware View, OfficeScan 10.5 rozpoznaje wirtualne punkty końcowe, a także chroni przed rywalizacją o zasoby porządkując operacje skanowania i instalowania aktualizacji zabezpieczeń.
Nowością w porównaniu z poprzednimi wersjami jest m.in. funkcja oceny reputacji stron WWW na lokalnym serwerze w sieci klienta. Pozwala ona sprawdzić, czy z dana witryna internetowa jest bezpieczna, ale nie obciąża firmowego łącza. Według producenta stosowanie OfficeScan umożliwia ponad dwukrotne zwiększenie liczby maszyn wirtualnych na host VDI bez obniżania poziomu bezpieczeństwa. OfficeScan 10.5 służy również do zarządzania infrastrukturą wirtualną. Z jednego serwera można zarządzać ponad 20 tys. punktów końcowych. Oprogramowanie ma certyfikat zgodności z Windows 7.
Polska wersja produktu będzie dostępna we wrześniu br.
