]]> Kierownictwo spółki uznało, że tak duża emisja nie jest konieczna, biorąc pod uwagę dobrą sytuację finansową Asseco i całej grupy. Na koniec 2010 r. spółka matka dysponowała ponad 173 mln zł gotówki (58,4 mln dol.), a grupa – 842 mln zł (284 mln dol.). Do niedawna polska firma przymierzała się do debiutu na nowojorskim rynku giełdowym, na którym notowane są spółki IT.

– Nie uważam wykonanych prac za stracone – powiedział prezes Asseco Adam Góral – Poznaliśmy mechanizmy związane z wejściem i funkcjonowaniem spółki na Nasdaq. Być może doświadczenia wykorzystamy w przyszłości.

Spółka nie wyklucza, że w przypadku znalezienia dużej firmy informatycznej, gwarantującej grupie Asseco znaczący wzrost, środki na przejęcie mogłyby zostać pozyskane z emisji akcji na nowojorskim parkiecie.
