]]> Seagate Technology skonstruował dysk Momentus Thin o grubości 7 mm. 2,5-calowe urządzenie jest przeznaczone do stosowania w laptopach, netbookach, elektronice użytkowej oraz rozwiązaniach służących do backupu. Tradycyjne rozwiązania tego typu mają grubość 9,5 mm.

 

Nowy model z interfejsem Serial ATA 3Gb/s ma być dostępny w dwóch pojemnościach – 250 GB oraz 160 GB. Wielkość pamięci cache będzie wynosić 8 MB. Dysk ma pracować z prędkością 5400 obr/min.
