]]> "Chcemy aktywnie uczestniczyć w rozwoju branży gier wideo" – zadeklarował Marcin Chludziński, prezes Agencji Rozwoju Przemysłu. W ub.r. agencja razem Uniwersytetem Śląskim i powiatem cieszyńskim powołała spółkę ARP Games, która ma skoncentrować się na kształceniu i doskonaleniu kadr programistów dla polskich firm gamingowych.

ARP wspiera także fundację Indie Games Polska. Jej stypendyści jadą na jedno z największych wydarzeń w branży – Game Developers Conference do San Francisco na przełomie lutego i marca br.

Deklaracja szefa ARP to nie pierwsza zapowiedź państwowego wsparcia dla polskiej branży gier wideo. W rządzie jej największym orędownikiem jest wicepremier Jarosław Gowin. Jego zdaniem branża gier wideo to przyszłość polskiej gospodarki. W końcu ub.r. w ramach pierwszego konkursu GameINN, organizowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju, przedsiębiorcom z branży przyznano 116 mln zł grantów. Wicepremier zapowiadał wówczas, że takich konkursów będzie więcej.
