Reprezentacji Transition Technologies z Warszawy nie udało się obronić zeszłorocznego tytułu.

]]> Pracownicy firm branży IT od 5 lat organizują się w drużyny i wspólnie rywalizują o tytuł mistrza w piłkarskim turnieju. „Mistrzostwa IT” to charytatywna inicjatywa, która bardzo dobrze integruje środowisko pracowników, a przede wszystkim pozwala pomóc potrzebującym dzieciom. W rozgrywkach biorą udział przedstawiciele wszystkich branż technologicznych, a także specjaliści różnych dziedzin.
 
W tegorocznych zawodach wzięło udział 322 zawodników reprezentujących 28 drużyn. Rozgrywki lokalne odbyły się w Warszawie i Lublinie. Mistrzem Warszawy 2019, drugi raz z rzędu została drużyna Netcompany. Drugie miejsce zajęła reprezentacja EIP. Trzecie miejsce zdobyła drużyna Sollers Consulting. Mistrzem Lublina 2019 została drużyna Billennium, Na drugim stopniu podium stanęła reprezentacja Koła Naukowego Informatyków KUL. Trzecie miejsce zajęła drużyna Asseco BS.

W turnieju finałowym wystąpiło 8 najlepszych drużyn (Billennium, Transition Technologies, EIP, Netcompany, Sollers Consulting, Lingaro, Koło Naukowe Informatyków KUL oraz Asseco BS) wyłonionych w czasie rozgrywek lokalnych. Tytułu z 2018 r. broniła reprezentacja Transition Technologies z Warszawy, jednak puchar Mistrza IT 2019 zdobyła reprezentacja Koła Naukowego Informatyków Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego. Wicemistrzem została drużyna EIP z Warszawy. Trzecie miejsce zajęła reprezentacja Lingaro, również z Warszawy.

Firmy, których reprezentanci grają w Mistrzostwach IT, przekazują darowizny dla dzieci z ośrodków wsparcia dziennego prowadzonych przez Fundację Szczęśliwe Dzieciństwo. Ofiarowane środki przeznaczane są na pokrycie kosztów: wakacji dla dzieci z ubogich rodzin, zajęć edukacyjnych i wyrównawczych, utrzymania ośrodków (posiłki, energia, itp.).
