Szykuje się kolejna fuzja na rynku dysków twardych. Seagate zamierza przejąć większość udziałów w LaCie. Firmę wyceniono na co najmniej 146 mln euro.

LaCie Minimus 1TB

Niewielkich rozmiarów Minimus prezentuje się bardzo dobrze. Obudowa dysku wykonana jest ze szczotkowanego aluminium, spełniając przy tym rolę radiatora odprowadzającego ciepło. Do komunikacji używa interfejsu USB 3.0, oferując transfery na poziomie 86 MB/s. Niestety dysk jest dość głośny podczas pracy.
