]]> Allied Telesis wprowadził na rynek 18-gniazdową, zarządzalną obudowę na konwertery mediów – AT-CV5001 Converteon. Obudowa ma źródła zasilania  na prąd stały lub zmienny, które można zmieniać w trakcie pracy i uzupełnić dwiema rezerwowymi kartami zarządzania. Model AT-CV5001 zastępuje wersję AT-CV5000.

 

Zasilacz zastosowany w nowej obudowie pozwala ograniczyć ogólne zużycie energii przez kompletny system ze 175 W (obudowa AT-CV5000) do mniej niż 140 W. Model przygotowany na rok 2010 (nowa obudowa, zasilacz i system blade) zużywa o 20% mniej energii niż poprzednik z 2009 roku.
