Działania mają uderzyć w oszustów wyłudzających VAT.

]]> Akcję prowadzą wspólnie kontrola skarbowa, straż graniczna i służba celna. Sprawdzany jest ruch na przejściach ze wschodnimi sąsiadami. Służby weryfikują dokumenty eksportowe oraz papiery podróżnych występujących o zwrot VAT-u w ramach procedury Tax Free. Skarbówka uzasadnia, że w transakcjach w branży elektronicznej wykorzystywane są zarówno mechanizmy oszustw łańcuchowych jak i system Tax Free (umożliwia zwrot VAT-u za towary kupione w Polsce i wywożone za granicę UE).

Obecnie kontrola skarbowa prowadzi ponad pół tysiąca postępowań sprawdzających związanych z elektroniką. Według służb skarbowych w związku z wykryciem nieprawidłowości jak dotąd zabezpieczono środki w wysokości 500 mln zł, a spodziewany wynik w prowadzonych sprawach to ponad 3,5 mld zł.

Wspólna akcja jest efektem porozumienia, dotyczącego zwalczania przestępczości gospodarczej, zawartego pomiędzy MSW, ministrem finansów i prokuratorem generalnym.
