Według producenta iPhone 5 działa na baterii przez 8 godzin przy połączeniu z Internetem w 3G, a 10 godz. – z Wi-Fi. W sieci 2G bez doładowania można rozmawiać przez 14 godzin.

Nowy model 28 września wejdzie na polski rynek. Cena urządzenia rekomendowana przez producenta (przy podpisaniu 2-letniej umowy z operatorem sieci komórkowej): iPhone 5 z 16 GB pamięci – 199 dol., 32 GB – 299 dol., 64 GB – 399 dol.
