]]> Według Gazety Wyborczej dostawcę wybrano w ramach przetargu. Kancelaria Sejmu zdecydowała się na iPady2 z 64 GB pamięci, Wi-Fi i modemem 3G. Biorąc pod uwagę ceny detaliczne, 500 zamówionych sztuk może kosztować ok. 1,75 mln zł. Posłowie oprócz tabletów dostaną także karty SIM z limitem transferu danych 2 GB miesięcznie. Nowe urządzenia mają usprawnić pracę parlamentarzystów, jednak konieczne mogą okazać się szkolenia. Tablety zostaną wyposażone w aplikację do elektronicznego obiegu dokumentów, przygotowaną przez Sejm. 

Zamówienie Kancelarii Sejmu to największy jednorazowy zakup iPadów w Polsce. Według Piotra Żelakiewicza, dyrektora ds. rozwoju rynku w iSource, miesięcznie użytkownicy indywidualni kupują średnio 10 tys. urządzeń.
