]]> Ilijana Vavan została dyrektorem zarządzającym Kaspersky Lab w Europie. Będzie odpowiadała za strategię firmy na kontynencie. Zastąpi Arno Costera, który kierował europejskim biznesem od października 2016 r. Firma nie podała powodu zmiany.

Nowa szefowa ma duże doświadczenie w zakresie bezpieczeństwa IT, SaaS, aplikacji dla przedsiębiorstw i IoT. Poprzednio pracowała w Oracle'u jako starszy dyrektor sprzedaży w Niemczech i Szwajcarii. Była już związana z Kaspersky'm w latach 2010 – 2012, zarządzając regionem Europy zachodniej. Ma też doświadczenie m.in. z Junipera i Microsoftu, gdzie odpowiadała m.in. za strategię współpracy z partnerami w Europie Środkowej i Wschodniej.

"Dzięki doświadczeniu Ilijany liczymy na dalszy wzrost w Europie oraz budowę silnych i efektywnych relacji z klientami i partnerami" – komentuje Alieksandr Mojsiejew, Chief Business Officer w Kaspersky Lab.

Wskutek podejrzeń o wykorzystywanie oprogramowania firmy do szpiegostwa antywirusy Kaspersky'ego usunięto z administracji USA, a w ostatnich miesiącach podobne zalecenia wydano w Europie – w Wielkiej Brytanii i na Litwie. Kaspersky Lab odrzuca oskarżenia, twierdząc, że nie ma żadnych dowodów na przedstawione zarzuty.
