Huawei TE50 jest kompatybilny ze standardem kompresji dźwięku AAC-LD z automatycznym kasowaniem echa (AEC) i redukcją szumów otoczenia (ANS). Terminal rozpoznaje komendy głosowe w różnych językach. Można go automatycznie skonfigurować przy użyciu dysku USB. Wysyłanie prezentacji z laptopa do rzutnika jest możliwe także wtedy, kiedy TE50 jest wyłączony, poprzez wspólny kabel VGA.
