Niezależni producenci oprogramowania mogą z pomocą serwisu oferować swoje rozwiązania, klienci mają natomiast możliwość zakupu i pobrania aplikacji. Według HP po zakupie architektury dostosowanej do obsługi sieci sterowanych programowo klienci będą współpracować z partnerami handlowymi wybierając odpowiednie dla nich aplikacje SDN. Otrzymają także kod rabatowy do użycia w sklepie HP SDN App Store.

W HP SDN App Store są cztery kategorie aplikacji:
• HP Circle — przygotowane i testowane wyłącznie przez HP,
