Firma znacznie więcej zarabia jednak na zgłoszeniach, w związku z tym od maja do października ub. roku otrzymała od policji ponad 250 tys. zł. Komenda Główna szykuje przetarg na usługi serwisowe, choć jego termin kolejny raz przesunięto. Tym razem wartość zlecenia określono na ponad 125 tys. euro.

W ósmej wersji ServiceDesk Plus dodano nowe funkcjonalności. Należy do nich katalog wniosków o usługę, umożliwiający użytkownikowi zgłoszenie zapotrzebowania na usługi, takie jak instalacja oprogramowania czy wymiana sprzętu.

Kolejną zmianą jest wprowadzenie tzw. agentów do skanowania zasobów. Instalacja agenta ułatwia skanowanie i komunikację pomiędzy komputerem a serwerem programu ServiceDesk. Umożliwia również skanowanie komputerów przy każdym ich uruchamianiu, dzięki czemu lista zasobów będzie zawsze aktualna, nawet dla komputerów, które nie są podłączone do sieci podczas skanowania wg harmonogramu.

Nowa wersja ServiceDesk Plus umożliwia integrację z programem ManageEngine Desktop Central – jest to aplikacja zarządzająca stacjami roboczymi. Wśród pozostałych modyfikacji usprawniono korzystanie z automatycznego przydzielania zgłoszeń do serwisantów, w nowej wersji można łączyć podobne zgłoszenia.

Ceny oprogramowania zaczynają się od 995 dol. (ok. 2750 zł).
