]]> Nowe netbooki to modele NB500, NB520 i NB550D z 10,1-calową matrycą o rozdzielczości 1024×600 pikseli. W urządzeniach NB520 i NB550D zainstalowano głośniki Harman Kardon o mocy 2 wat każdy, które charakteryzują się pasmem przenoszenia 350 Hz – 20 kHz.  Oba komputery mają także wejścia mikrofonowe z opcją Sleep and Music, która umożliwia słuchanie muzyki przez głośniki netbooka, np. z odtwarzacza MP3, nawet wtedy, gdy komputer jest wyłączony.

Tę samą opcję USB ma model NB550D. Będzie on dostępny z procesorem AMD-C30 lub C50. oba z układem graficznym Radeon HD 6250. Pojemność pamięci RAM DDR3 wynosi 1 GB, a dysku twardego – 250 GB. Netbook ma moduł sieciowy 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, trzy złącza USB 2.0 oraz złącze HDMI. Urządzenia wyposażono w kamery internetowe o rozdzielczości VGA z mikrofonem.

W trzecim komputerze, NB500, zamontowano procesor Intel Atom N455, 1 GB RAM DDR2, dysk twardy o pojemności 250 GB, 3 złącza USB 2.0 i głośniki mono.

Netbooki mają preinstalowany dostęp do serwisu Toshiba Music Places z utworami MP3 (po wykupieniu danego utworu jest on dostępny na zawsze).

Według producenta NB 500 i NB520 mogą pracować na baterii 6-komorowej do 10 godzin, NB550D – do 9,5 godz. Z taką baterią netbooki ważą po 1,32 kg.
