Goran Markovic jest związany z sektorem telekomunikacyjnym od ponad 16 lat. W tym czasie pełnił funkcje kierownicze w spółkach grupy Telenor. Ostatnio zajmował stanowisko Chief Commercial Officera w Telenor Bułgaria. Kierował całością działań sprzedażowych i marketingowych segmentów B2C oraz B2B.
 
W trakcie swojej kariery Goran Markovic przebył pełną ścieżkę od stażu w dziale marketingu do przejęcia odpowiedzialności za całą ofertę komercyjną operatora.

Przed objęciem stanowiska CCO w Telenor Bułgaria był odpowiedzialny za transformację biznesu i organizacji w regionie CEE jako Program Director klastra CEE. Wcześniej zajmował stanowiska w pionie marketingu Telenor Hungary, takie jak Omni-channel Marketing Director, Business Transformation Lead i doradca CMO.

Goran Markovic pełnił także funkcję Brand Managera w Grupie Telenor po wyprowadzce ze swojego rodzinnego kraju, Czarnogóry, gdzie rozpoczął karierę w 2004 r.

Goran Markovic jest absolwentem informatyki na Uniwersytecie Czarnogóry. Obecnie studiuje EMBA na University of Sheffield.
