]]> Wyrok w tej sprawie zapadł w sierpniu na wniosek Apple’a, który zapewniał, że tablet koreańskiej firmy jest kopią tabletu iPada. Najpierw zakaz sprzedaży Galaxy Tab 10.1 objął całą Unię Europejską, potem ograniczono go do Niemiec. W uzasadnieniu ostatniego wyroku sąd wprawdzie przyznał, że oba urządzenia nie są identyczne, ale jednak bardzo podobne. Nie przekonały go argumenty Samsunga, który dowodził, że rozpoczął prace nad swoim tabletem zanim Apple upublicznił projekt iPada. Nadal obowiązuje także sądowe postanowienie o zakazie dystrybucji w Niemczech mniejszego urządzenia Samsunga, Galaxy Tab 7.7.
