]]> Według bankier.pl w minionym roku najbardziej zwiększyła się liczba donosów w UKS w Lublinie (o 40 proc.), Warszawie (25 proc.) i Krakowie (19 proc.). Najczęściej „życzliwi” zarzucają nieprawidłowości sąsiadom, byłym małżonkom, pracodawcom, kontrahentom i konkurentom. Typowe jest zwracanie uwagi na przejawy podejrzanego – według donoszących – bogactwa wskazanych osób (nowe samochody, domy itp.). W przypadku przedsiębiorców najczęstsze zarzuty to: niewydanie PIT-11 pracownikowi, brak płatności za faktury, obroty nieewidencjonowane, zatrudnianie „na czarno”, odmowa wypłaty wynagrodzenia. Informatorzy donoszą więc o sprawach, które nie zawsze leżą w kompetencji skarbówki. W takiej sytuacji UKS-y przekazują je właściwym organom.

Przedsiębiorców oskarżają także konkurenci i kontrahenci. Zdaniem rzeczniczki UKS w Opolu, uczciwe firmy chcą w ten sposób osiągnąć lepszą pozycję na rynku. „Zgłoszenia składane przez osoby prowadzące działalność gospodarczą i uczciwie płacące podatki należy traktować jak wniosek o ochronę przed nieuczciwą konkurencją” – zauważa przedstawicielka urzędu.
