W Kielcach doszło do rozróby, zatrzymano 15 osób. Manifestacje odbyły się w kilku innych miastach.

]]> W Kielcach podczas demonstracji przeciwników paktu antypirackiego niszczono samochody, policja nie panowała nad sytuacją. Kilkunastu chuliganów trafiło do aresztu. Około tysiąc osób zebrało się przed Biurem Parlamentu Europejskiego w Warszawie. Ulicami Krakowa według policji przemaszerowało 4 tysiące ludzi, „nie” dla ACTA manifestowano także m.in. we Wrocławiu, Tarnowie, Bydgoszczy. Ponownie zaatakowali hakerzy z grupy Anonymous, publikując w Internecie dane urzędników. Według polskiego prawa sprawcom takich czynów grozi do 5 lat pozbawienia wolności.

Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich Irena Lipowicz, poprosiła premiera o wyjaśnienie, jak ratyfikacja ACTA wpłynie na przestrzeganie swobód obywatelskich w Polsce. Jej zdaniem metody działania zapisane w traktacie budzą niepokój w kontekście obowiązującego w naszym kraju systemu ochrony praw człowieka (zgodnie z zapisami ACTA np. firmy internetowe miałyby przekazywać dane osób podejrzanych o naruszenie praw autorskich ich właścicielom, co może być niezgodne z konstytucją). Z kolei zdaniem GIODO, który również wskazuje na niebezpieczeństwa związane z ACTA, polskie przepisy nie uprawniają do przekazywania danych osobowych innym krajom czy firmom (w kontekście traktatu może chodzić np. o producentów oprogramowania, koncerny fonograficzne). Rząd uspokaja jednak, że ACTA nie grozi internautom inwigilacją. Po jego podpisaniu (co ma nastąpić dziś) powinny ruszyć prace nad ustawami, które zabezpieczą prawa użytkowników Internetu.
