Na zlecenie Barracuda przeprowadzono badanie w celu poznania opinii decydentów IT z całego świata na temat usługi Office 365, bezpieczeństwa danych, tworzenia kopii zapasowych i odtwarzania danych, rozwiązań SaaS oraz innych, pokrewnych zagadnień. Oto wybrane wnioski zaprezentowane w raporcie „The state of Office 365 backup”.
- 72 proc. respondentów obawia się, że dane przechowywane w Office 365 mogą być celem ataku ransomware; 52 proc. twierdzi, że ich firma już doświadczyła ataku ransomware.
- Dla 77 proc. badanych ważne jest precyzyjne przywracanie danych przechowywanych w aplikacjach Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive i Teams; 79 proc. potrzebuje możliwości odzyskiwania skrzynek pocztowych do innej niż pierwotna lokalizacji lub do innego użytkownika.

Identyfikacja prowadzona jest w sposób automatyczny, bez konieczności konfigurowania skanerów lub harmonogramów. Alerty wysyłane są wskazanym osobom pocztą elektroniczną i zapewniają komplet informacji, dzięki którym w razie potrzeby można szybko zareagować.
Data Inspector może nawet zidentyfikować poufne informacje na podstawie zdjęć, zrzutów ekranu i skanów dokumentów. Poszukuje danych rozproszonych po całej infrastrukturze (także schowanych w rzadko odwiedzanych plikach), których wyciek mógłby zagrozić funkcjonowaniu firmy, jak też tych, które zostały określone jako szczególnie wrażliwe w aktach prawnych, w tym w RODO. Administratorzy mogą dodatkowo wpłynąć na zwiększenie świadomości bezpieczeństwa użytkowników końcowych dzięki automatycznym powiadomieniom wyświetlanym za każdym razem, gdy użytkownicy próbują przechowywać wrażliwe dane w OneDrive lub SharePoint.
