]]> Projekt B+R rozwijany przez Asseco dotyczy badań nad sterowaniem za pomocą technologii Internet-of-Things poborem energii przez urządzenia działające u użytkowników końcowych. 

W efekcie badań ma powstać system Asseco Demand Side Management. Jego główną cechą będzie zdolność do regulacji popytu na energię, poprzez "przejmowanie” kontroli nad urządzeniami pracującymi u jej odbiorców i elastycznym ograniczaniu pobieranej przez nich mocy. Ma to zwiększyć bezpieczeństwo pracy systemu elektroenergetycznego oraz zapobiegać zanikom napięcia w sieci dystrybucyjnej, w okresach zwiększonego zapotrzebowania na energię elektryczną, np. w wyniku długotrwałych upałów.

Całkowita wartość projektu wyniesie 6 671 821,86 zł. Wartość dofinansowania to 2,7 mln zł. Zostanie ono przekazane przez Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwój na lata 2014-2020.
