„Samo gęste” na konferencji IT Manager of Tomorrow 2022
Rekordowa widownia i wyjątkowe emocje towarzyszyły tegorocznej edycji spotkania, podczas którego uhonorowano zwycięzców konkursu na najlepszych menadżerów IT w Polsce.
Dla „samego gęstego” i networkingu warto zjawić się na konferencji IT Manager of Tomorrow” – to właśnie, słynne już zdanie Marcina Młodzińskiego z BSH, uwieczniliśmy na pokonferencyjnym „aftermovie” z 2018 roku. Dla mnie i zespołu Let’s Manage IT stało się ono symbolem i drogowskazem do tworzenia kolejnych edycji tego wydarzenia. Wspomniane bowiem „samo gęste” to wyznacznik do budowania agendy i doboru speakerów.
Na łącznie trzech scenach i dodatkowych dwóch salach szkoleniowych wystąpiło ponad 70 specjalistów. W przestrzeni hotelu Marriott w Gdyni znalazło się niemal 500 osób z ponad 100 różnych organizacji z Polski, Europy i świata. Wsparła nas rekordowa liczba partnerów, a nad konferencją pracował zespół w największym jak dotąd składzie. Warto podkreślić, że w trakcie siódmej edycji IT Manager of Tomorrow odnotowaliśmy rekordową sprzedaż biletów, co spowodowało, że w połowie kwietnia musieliśmy ogłosić „sold out”.
Pierwszy dzień upłynął nam pod znakiem warsztatów w mniejszych grupach. Tę bardziej praktyczną część konferencji oddaliśmy między innymi w ręce doświadczonych trenerów Conlea – partnera wydarzenia. Przez zagadnienia z obszaru Scale Agile Framework uczestników przeprowadził Tomek Szymborski z udziałem Michała Jaśkiewicza z Deloitte. Warsztaty ITIL4 poprowadził Jarosław Pastuszak, zaś „Successful cloud journey” to specjalność Oleksandry Flekel, po której Tomek Pająk przybliżył temat DevSecOps.
W mgnieniu oka rozeszły się też miejsca na warsztat Wojciecha Wereszko – byłego oficera GROM-u – dotyczący świadomego doboru współpracowników. Bank rozbił Dawid Ostręga ze swoim warsztatem „Leading high-performing teams” i niezwykle charyzmatyczna Eliza Stasińska (CTO mBanku), która postawiła przed nami pytanie wyjątkowe w swej prostocie: „dlaczego jedni menadżerowie odnoszą sukces w IT, a inni tkwią w miejscu?”.
Konkurs IT Manager of Tomorrow Awards
Scenę główną konferencji „ochrzcił” gość specjalny, profesor SGH Piotr Płoszajski. Tuż po nim rozpoczął się mój ulubiony, ale też najbardziej stresujący moment konferencji – finał IT Manager of Tomorrow Awards. Konkurs, choć swoje zwieńczenie miał 8 i 9 czerwca, dla jego uczestników rozpoczął się już w styczniu. Finaliści, aby znaleźć się na scenie, musieli przejść przez dwa etapy i udowodnić, że to właśnie ich „case” zasługuje na opowiedzenie przed szeroką publicznością.
Jury wyłoniło laureatów w pięciu kategoriach. Tytuł IT Manager of Tomorrow Awards i wyjazd na Dell Technologies World w Las Vegas otrzymała Paulina Święcicka (IT Network Head, Roche). Nagroda Rising Star, bilet na IT Manager of Tomorrow 2023, powędrowała do Sebastiana Dydka (pełnomocnik zarządu ds. cyfryzacji sieci, Lewiatan). Marcin Springer (CEO, Strong Signal) to laureat nagrody przyznawanej przez publiczność (wystąpienie na konferencji w przyszłym roku) oraz zwycięzca w kategorii People Leader. Tytuł Business Leader zgarnął Przemysław Juszkiewicz (Delivery Manager, GFT Group), a z nagrodą Technology Leader wyszedł Jacek Fiszer (IT Service Manager, Allegro.pl). Laureaci kategorii People, Business i Technology Leader otrzymali bilet na Web Summit wraz z pobytem w Lizbonie.
Ogromne podziękowania kieruję również w stronę jury, które swoją wiedzą i doświadczeniem wspierało finalistów na każdym etapie tej niezwykłej przygody. Podczas gali finałowej ITMT Awards wydarzyło się też coś, czego nie zapomnę do końca życia. Były to trwające kilkadziesiąt sekund, a dla mnie całą wieczność, owacje na stojąco publiczności, które wywołał Sebastian Drzewiecki (Country Manager, SoftServe).
Blask Igi Świątek
Drugi dzień konferencji rozpoczął się od wystąpienia Darii Abramowicz, psycholożki sportowej. Jej wystąpienie miało miejsce zaledwie cztery dni po spektakularnym zwycięstwie Igi Świątek w kobiecym finale Roland Garros. Fakt ten dodał wystąpieniu Darii Abramowicz jeszcze większej autentyczności.
Wypełniona widownia to coś, co cieszyło moje oczy podczas wielu prelekcji. Imponującą publikę zgromadził Szymon Negacz, podcaster i founder SellWise, który opowiedział, jak poradzić sobie z nieuzasadnionym oporem biznesu w stosunku do działów IT. Prezentacja Małgosi Wypych (prezes, Mental Health Center) na temat rozpoznawania i wspierania pracowników w depresji to coś, na co czekali wszyscy.
Już teraz zapraszam na 8. edycję IT Manager of Tomorrow, która odbędzie się za rok w Gdyni.
