Biorąc pod uwagę stosunek jakości do ceny zasadne jest pytanie: skąd Aruba wzięła pomysł na stworzenie takiej linii produktów? Odpowiedź jest bardzo istotna w kontekście spodziewanego odbioru rynkowego: „Z obserwacji oraz rozmów z naszymi Partnerami Biznesowymi i Klientami. Bardzo często słyszymy od nich, że małe lub średnie firmy, korzystając z systemów Wi-Fi, mają problemy z konfiguracją, zarządzaniem czy ustawieniem dużej ilości polityk bezpieczeństwa. Wykorzystując zatem swoje doświadczenia w budowaniu zaawansowanych systemów Wi-Fi, Aruba postanowiła stworzyć rozwiązanie dla sektora MŚP, które będzie miało przystępną cenę, przy utrzymaniu wysokiego poziomu bezpieczeństwa czy wydajności” – wyjaśnia Wojciech Grin, Product Manager rozwiązań HPE Aruba, który na co dzień zajmuje się promowaniem i sprzedażą rozwiązań tej marki w firmie Arrow, dystrybutora produktów HPE Aruba w Polsce.

Platforma sprzętowa, na której zbudowano AIO to te same AP (Access Pointy), które są wykorzystywane w rozwiązaniach przeznaczonych dla dużych firm. W skład rodziny wchodzą cztery modele. Do zastosowań wewnętrznych: AP11, AP12 i AP15 oraz AP22 (z certyfikatem Wi-Fi 6), o który niedawno uzupełniono całą rodzinę. Ponadto producent ma w portfolio jeden zewnętrzny AP17 oraz AP11D – typowy model desktopowy, ale wyposażony w trzy porty Gigabit Ethernet.  

Model AP22 obsługuje standard 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), a więc jeszcze szybszą od dotychczasowych wersję standardu sieci bezprzewodowych. Pozwala to na uzyskiwanie wyższych przepustowości, nawet do 10 Gbit/s oraz łączenie się większej liczby urządzeń (nawet kilkudziesięciu) do punktu dostępowego. AP22 został ponadto wyposażony w mechanizmy obniżające zużycie energii (w efekcie smartfony i laptopy z Wi-Fi 6 mogą działać dłużej).

„W AIO znacznie uproszczono oprogramowanie do zarządzania. Zrezygnowano z niektórych korporacyjnych funkcji, stawiając na maksymalne uproszczenie konfiguracji. Jak wynika z praktycznych doświadczeń często w ogóle nie są wykorzystywane lub są ustawione w trybie ‘default’ i tylko utrudniają poprawną konfigurację sieci” – podkreśla Wojciech Grin.

Systemy AP AIO wykorzystują zarządzanie w chmurze, umożliwiają szybką, bezpłatną aktualizację funkcji i oprogramowania zarządzającego. Wdrożenie i pełna konfiguracja AIO (w tym firewalla oraz sieci dla gości) zajmuje mniej czasu niż 10 minut.

Cały system jest na bieżąco monitorowany przez oprogramowanie działające w chmurze, do czego można wykorzystać przeglądarkę lub prostą aplikacji mobilną. Przy czym w razie awarii połączenia z internetem lokalna sieć funkcjonuje dalej, dokładnie tak samo, jak było to przy pierwszej instalacji.

Aplikacja działa w czasie rzeczywistym i dostarcza informacji o stanie sieci Wi-Fi, jej bieżącym obciążeniu oraz liczbie podłączonych urządzeń klienckich. Szybko możemy sprawdzić, jaki ruch i gdzie przechodził przez podłączone do AP urządzenia. Pozwala to na zdalne blokowanie dostępu podejrzanych i niechcianych urządzeń czy stron zawierających niepożądane treści. Oprogramowanie generuje również automatyczne alerty. Jeśli pojawi się jakiś problem, reakcja administratora może być natychmiastowa.

AIO zostały wyposażone w najlepsze dostępne obecnie rozwiązania i funkcje stosowane w korporacjach i dużych firmach. W tym kontekście warto zwrócić uwagę użytkowników na to, że…

…wszystkie stacje dostępowe wchodzące w skład rodziny AIO są wyposażone w chipset HPE TPM (Trusted Platform Module), który zapobiega zdalnym włamaniom do urządzenia, jak też modyfikacji oprogramowania rozruchowego, podszywanie się pod nie lub jego wyłączenie;

…AP automatycznie nawiązują bezpieczne, szyfrowane (SSL/TSL) połączenia z chmurową platformą Aruba, a aplikacje mobilne i przeglądarki komunikują się z chmurą przy wykorzystaniu protokołu HTTPS;

Dlatego jednym z ważnych argumentów sprzedażowych może okazać się funkcja automatycznego przyznawania wysokiego priorytetu dla aplikacji wideo, umożliwiając ich dobre i płynne działanie.
