Pod koniec września Brother zaprosił resellerów i integratorów do warszawskiego hotelu Bristol. Podczas kameralnej gali Piotr Baca, Country Manager, dokonał podsumowania ostatniego roku, a także przedstawił plany dotyczące działań na rodzimym rynku. Podkreślił przy tym, że jednym z największych wyzwań, z jakim muszą borykać się producenci sprzętu jest ograniczona dostępność urządzeń z uwagi na braki komponentów do produkcji. Jak się okazuje Brother całkiem dobrze sobie radzi w tak niesprzyjających warunkach. W 2020 roku przychody producenta ze sprzedaży urządzeń były porównywalne do roku 2019, który był rekordowym rokiem.

– Na koniec 2021 roku spodziewamy się przychodów ze sprzedaży urządzeń na porównywalnym poziomie dwóch poprzednich lat. Przyjmując za kryterium liczbę sprzedanych urządzeń to spadek powinien wynosić około 7%. Tak wynika z przyjętej przez nas strategii, zgodnie z którą koncentrujemy się na sprzedaży droższych produktów – wyjaśnia Piotra Baca.

Piotr Baca, Country Manager Brother, podsumował ostatni rok i przedstawił plany dotyczące działań na polskim rynku.

Brother od pewnego czasu konsekwentnie stawia na sprzedaż kontraktową. Producent wprowadził ten model w Polsce sześć lat temu, ale zainteresowanie ze strony przedsiębiorców było wówczas znikome. Z czasem sytuacja uległa diametralnej zmianie. W tym roku znaczna większość urządzeń biznesowych została  sprzedana jako usługa zarządzania drukiem. Piotr Baca podkreślił, że   powinniśmy osiągnąć rekordową sprzedaż  kontraktową w obecnym roku budżetowym.

Jak wynika z danych GFK za okres od kwietnia 2020 r. do marca 2021 r. Brother „kontrolował” 44,2 proc. polskiego rynku wielofunkcyjnych laserowych urządzeń monochromatycznych, co dało tej marce pozycję lidera. Według tego samego badania japoński producent zajmował drugie miejsca w segmencie monochromatycznych drukarek laserowych (28,4 proc.), kolorowych drukarek laserowych (16,9 proc.) oraz wielofunkcyjnych kolorowych urządzeń laserowych (28,2 proc.).

Spotkanie odbyło się w warszawskim hotelu Bristol.

– Pandemia koronawirusa, oprócz negatywnych skutków społecznych, przyniosła ze sobą kilka innych problemów, takich jak kłopoty z komponentami czy wzrost kosztów transportu. W ciągu kilku miesięcy ceny frachtu znacznie wzrosły, co może  się przełożyć na ceny urządzeń – podkreśla Piotr Baca.

W ciągu ostatnich dwunastu miesięcy Brother nie wprowadził na polski rynek żadnych nowych produktów. Za to w 2022 r. nie zabraknie interesujących premier. Producent zapowiada rozszerzenie oferty kolorowych urządzeń laserowych o modele drukujące do 40 stron na minutę i wyposażone w znacznie wydajniejsze materiały eksploatacyjne. Brother odświeży również popularną rodzinę  monochromatycznych urządzeń laserowych z serii 5 oraz 6.

– Bardzo liczę na to, że w przyszłym roku zorganizujemy dużą konferencję, na której pokażemy nowe produkty. Zamierzamy dalej rozwijać sprzedaż kontraktową, ponieważ dostrzegamy w tym obszarze bardzo duży potencjał. Nawet, jeśli będziemy zmuszeni podnieść ceny sprzętu, nie wpłynie to na stawki zawartych kontraktów, gdzie klient płaci za wydruk – zapewnia szef Brother Polska.

Punktem kulminacyjnym wydarzenia było wręczenie nagród partnerom.

Warto dodać, że uczestnicy spotkania łączyli się z Osawa Toru, członkiem zarządu Brother Central & Eastern Europe, który pogratulował laureatom. W rozmowie z CRN Polska Osawa Toru przyznał, że pandemia mocno zmieniła rynek urządzeń drukujących. Firma odnotowała duży wzrost popytu na urządzenia adresowane dla użytkowników domowych. Niestety, nie zawsze udawało się zaspokoić zapotrzebowanie rynku ze względu na niedobory komponentów. Osawa Toru zwrócił również uwagę na skomplikowanie środowiska druku, będące następstwem pracy zdalnej. Część pracowników drukowała dokumenty w biurach, inni robili to w domu.

– Wierzę, że zachodzące zmiany otwierają nowe możliwości biznesowe dla Brothera. Jesteśmy w środku transformacji, dlatego powinniśmy bardzo dokładnie obserwować i jak najszybciej rozpoznawać  zmieniające się potrzeby klientów. To również rada dla naszych partnerów – podsumował Osawa Toru.
