ZyXEL dodał do asortymentu 24-portowy przełącznik XGS-4526 typu 10G Ready.
Urządzenie wyposażono w porty gigabitowe 10/100/1000 Mb/s, optyczne gniazda gigabitowe SFP oraz opcjonalnie 10 Gb/s. XGS-4256 umożliwia przełączanie z prędkością do 144 Gb/s i kontrolę dostępu w trzech warstwach (L2/L3/L4) z funkcją IP multicasting w warstwie L3. XGS-4526 wyposażono w mechanizmy, regulujące ruch sieciowy w celu uzyskania wyższej wydajności. Dzięki funkcjom CoS (Class of Service) oraz DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) administratorzy sieci mogą przypisać priorytety do aplikacji o największym znaczeniu, np. VoIP czy wideokonferencji. XGS-4526 ma funkcje zarządzania pasmem z dokładnością do 64 Kb/s. W zależności od zainstalowanego modułu przełącznik umożliwia różne typy połączeń. Moduł ZyXEL EM-422 ma dwa gniazda XFP 10G, natomiast moduł ZyXEL EM-412 – dwa porty CX-4.
