ZUS zapłaci IBM 230 mln zł
Koncern uzyskał kolejny mega kontrakt w ZUS-ie. Za swoje usługi zainkasuje 230 mln zł.
Umowa z ZUS obejmuje udzielenie licencji wraz ze wsparciem na oprogramowanie IBM, a także świadczenie usług wsparcia kodu sterującego GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel SysplexTM). Ma on zapewnić dostęp do danych i systemów z/OS, DB2 oraz z (mainframe) od IBM. Zgodnie z zamówieniem koncern ma zagwarantować dostępność na poziomie nie mniejszym niż 99,6 proc. i czas odtworzenia systemu po awarii w czasie nie dłuższym niż 6 godzin. Kontrakt obowiązuje przez 3 lata, od 1 stycznia br.
Zamówienia udzielono bez przetargu, z wolnej ręki. ZUS wyjaśnia, że IBM jest jedynym podmiotem, który mógł dostarczyć odpowiednie rozwiązanie. Ponadto w br. wygasa poprzedni kontrakt z Big Blue i nowy był niezbędny, aby zakład mógł dalej korzystać z licencji przetwarzania na platformie mainframe.
To kolejna duża umowa ZUS-u z IBM. Od 2012 r. koncern za 200 mln zł modernizował Zespół Komputera Centralnego ZUS-u.
