Vigor Switch P2260 i Vigor Switch G2240, najnowsze produkty DrayTeka, to zarządzalne przełączniki warstwy drugiej. Przeznaczone są dla firm, które chcą rozszerzyć istniejącą sieć Gigabit Ethernet o nowych użytkowników.
Urządzenie Vigor Switch G2240 wyposażono w porty: 24 Gigabit Ethernet oraz 4 SFP, natomiast Vigor Switch G2260 umożliwia korzystanie z portów: 24 Fast Ethernet z PoE, 2 Gigabit Ethernet oraz 2 SFP.
W obu urządzeniach użyto protokołu 802.1x. W Vigorze Switch G2240 zastosowano funkcję IP MAC Binding. Dodatkowo oba produkty pozwalają na tworzenie wielu grup w oparciu o VLAN-y portowe lub tagowane 802.1Q i 802.1Q-in-Q, a tym samym odizolowanie ruchu pomiędzy poszczególnymi użytkownikami w sieci.
Oba modele posiadają zaimplementowane protokoły STP i RSTP zapobiegające powstawaniu pętli, a także protokół GVRP przeznaczony do dynamicznego utrzymywania informacji VLAN. Port Trunking służy do logicznego łączenia portów w celu osiągnięcia większych prędkości przesyłania danych, a port Mirror umożliwia monitorowanie ruchu poprzez kopiowanie danych z wybranych portów do portu zdefiniowanego.
Modele Vigor Switch P2260 i Vigor Switch G2240 na rynek zostały wprowadzone przez firmę Brinet, wyłącznego dystrybutora urządzeń DrayTek. Gwarancja na switche wynosi 12 m-cy.
