Zalman: dyski SSD z Sandforce
Producent wprowadził na rynek napędy SSD serii F z interfejsem SATA 6 Gb/s. Maksymalna prędkość odczytu danych wynosi 560 MB/s.
Nośniki są dostępne w pojemnościach 60, 120 i 240 GB. Wyposażono je w kontroler Sandforce SF-2281 i pamięci NAND Intela wyprodukowane w technologii 25 nm (MLC). Maksymalna prędkość odczytu danych dochodzi do 560 MB/s, a zapisu – 530 MB/s. Urządzenia mogą wykonać w ciągu jednej sekundy średnio 60 tys. (maksymalnie 85 tys.) operacji wejścia i wyjścia (IOPS). Według producenta dyski pobierają nie więcej niż 3 waty podczas obciążenia, a w stanie bezczynności – 0,5 wata.
Napędy wyposażono w funkcje S.M.A.R.T. (monitorowanie dysku), NCQ i TRIM (poprawiają wydajność). SSD Zalman z serii F mają przekątną 2,5 cala. W zestawie znajdują się akcesoria do montażu w 3,5-calowej zatoce obudowy komputera stacjonarnego. Dołączone oprogramowanie Disk Migration Utility ułatwia przeniesienie danych ze starego dysku na nowy SSD.
