Wzrost na rynku notebooków w III kwartale
Według informacji od produkujących laptopy firm ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) widać ożywienie na rynku, rosną zamówienia. Dostawcy spodziewają się, że w bieżącym kwartale do sprzedaży trafi o 5 – 10 proc. więcej sprzętu niż w II kw. br.
Ostatnio produkcja rośnie z miesiąca na miesiąc. W lipcu z taśm azjatyckich fabryk prawdopodobnie zjedzie nieco więcej urządzeń niż w czerwcu (lub będzie to podobna liczba), a w sierpniu spodziewany jest wzrost, gdy vendorzy będą zapełniać magazyny przed “powrotem do szkoły”.
Azjatyckie firmy ODM oczekują, że wzrost (w odniesieniu do III kw.) będzie kontynuowany w IV kw. br. Tym samym proporcje wielkości dostaw w I poł. br. w porównaniu z II poł. br. wyniosą 45:55.
Przykładowo jeden z głównych graczy ODM, Compal Electronics, dostarczył największym markom w czerwcu 4,4 mln notebooków, w porównaniu z 3,5 mln szt. w maju. Compal prognozuje, że w III kw. wynik będzie 10 proc. na plusie (kwartał do kwartału).
Optymistyczne przewidywania co do końcówki roku na rynku komputerów przenośnych są związane ze słabnącym popytem na tablety i erozją cen tych urządzeń. Z tego powodu vendorzy znowu zaczynają koncentrować się na laptopach, inwestycje wracają do tego segmentu.
