Wytrzymała płyta od Asusa
Płyta główna Trooper B85 z chipsetem B85 Express została zaprojektowana do pracy w trudnych warunkach i pod dużym obciążeniem.
Trooper B85 przeszła testy zgodne ze standardami wojskowymi, obejmującymi m.in. pracę w temperaturze 55°C przez 48 godz. oraz przez 20 godz. w temperaturze 60°C – w obu przypadkach przy poziomie wilgotności 90 proc. Przeprowadzono trwające 7 tys. godz. testy walidacyjne, testy potwierdzające ochronę przed wyładowaniami elektrostatycznymi. Rozwiazanie LANGuard wykorzystuje technologię łączenia sygnałów oraz kondensatory zwiększające przepustowość. Porty, gniazda USB i wyjścia audio zabezpieczono osłonami, które według producenta mają dwukrotnie większą wytrzymałość od poprzedniej wersji.
Płytę wyposażono w japońskie kondensatory 10K black metallic i dławiki TUF wykonane z materiałów odpornych na utlenianie (zapewniają lepsze rozpraszanie ciepła).
