Właściciel marki Goodram wprowadza do oferty moduły RAM czwartej generacji – DDR4 taktowane zegarem 2400 MHz.
W ofercie Wilka DDR4 są dostępne od kilku miesięcy, zaś w połowie lutego pojawiły się moduły taktowane zegarem o częstotliwości 2400 MHz. Zbudowane na bazie kości Hynixa pamięci o pojemnościach 4 i 8 GB mają opóźnienia 15-15-15-35. Prędkość transferu sięga 19200 GB/s, czyli o kilkanaście procent więcej niż w DDR4 z FSB 2133 MHz.
Pamięci DDR4 Goodram zaprojektowano do najnowszych platform Intela z chipsetem X99 i procesorami z serii iCore Haswell E. Są zasilane napięciem 1,2 V (o 20 proc. mniej, niż DDR3). Dzięki temu według producenta koszty eksploatacji urządzenia i oszczędność energii wynosi do 40 proc.
