Wakacyjny dołek notebooków
W lipcu najwięksi producenci wprowadzili na rynek o jedną czwartą notebooków mniej niż w czerwcu. Jednak w ciągu 7 miesięcy 2014 r. do sprzedaży trafiło więcej sprzętu niż rok wcześniej.
Według ustaleń Digitimes Research w minionym miesiącu 5 największych vendorów dostarczyło na rynek o 25 proc. mniej laptopów niż w czerwcu, natomiast w przypadku 3 największych firm ODM spadek wyniósł 17 proc.
Najbardziej ograniczyli dostawy HP i Lenovo (o 30 proc. miesiąc do miesiąca), nieco mniej Acer i Asus (o 20 proc.). Zwiększył je natomiast Dell.
Z danych od vendorów i firm ODM wynika, że w okresie styczeń – lipiec 2014 r. dostawy laptopów na świecie były wyższe niż w analogicznym okresie 2013 r. Rośnie zainteresowanie chromebookami. W II kw. br. ich udział w rynku wyniósł 3,7 proc. wobec 2,4 proc. w I kw. br.
