VIA Technologies zapowiedziała wprowadzenie do oferty domowego serwera VIA NSD7800. W jego konstrukcji zastosowano procesor VIA C7-D 1,5 GHz. Urządzenie współpracuje z 1 GB pamięci DDR2. Na przednim panelu serwera mieści się osiem kieszeni formatu 3,5 cala służących do instalacji dysków twardych S-ATA II. VIA NSD7800 jest wyposażony w czytnik kart compact flash typu 1 służący do instalacji wbudowanych systemów operacyjnych i wykorzystuje gigabitową sieć z kontrolerem PCI Express. Urządzenie ma wymiary 34 x 34 x 15 cm. Współpracuje z systemem Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2007, Windows Home Server i Linux.
