Uzdrowiska będą technologicznym skansenem
Od 5 lat obowiązuje zakaz rozbudowy infrastruktury teleinformatycznej w uzdrowiskach. Posłowie zdecydowali, że to się nie zmieni. „Oznacza to, że 44 miejscowości będą technologicznym skansenem” – komentuje PKPP Lewiatan.
Połączone sejmowe komisje Samorządu Terytorialnego i Zdrowia odrzuciły propozycję zmiany przepisów dotyczących inwestycji w sieć teleinformatyczną w regionach uzdrowiskowych. Chodzi o 44 gminy i miejscowości, w tym część Krakowa i Sopotu, Kołobrzeg, Ustkę, Krynicę, Konstancin Jeziorną, Augustów. W tych miejscach inwestycje stanęły w 2005 r., zgodnie z uchwaloną wówczas ustawą o lecznictwie uzdrowiskowym. Według Lewiatana zakaz nie przyczynia się do poprawy ochrony zdrowia, a jedynie blokuje rozwój gmin i miejscowości. W oparciu infrastrukturę sprzed 5 lat nie jest możliwe świadczenie części usług mobilnych, sieci są przeciążone. Mieszkańcom grozi wykluczenie cyfrowe, nie zarabiają dostawcy ani firmy wdrożeniowe. Zniesienie zakazu obok Lewiatana popierają również Ministerstwo Infrastruktury, UKE, PIIT, GOPR, Stowarzyszenie Gmin Uzdrowiskowych i Instytut Wschodni.

Ponad jedna czwarta społeczeństwa nie używa Internetu, co przekłada się na 24 mld zł strat budżetu i gospodarstw domowych. Może to zmienić program edukacji cyfrowej, ale są problemy z jego kontynuacją. W latach 2015-2020 potrzeba na ten cel 40 mln zł.
