Tylko 15 proc. komputerów z SSD
Mimo że już większość nowych PC ma na pokładzie SSD, tradycyjne HDD nadal zdecydowanie dominują wśród użytkowników.
Jedynie 15 proc. komputerów używanych obecnie na świecie ma zainstalowany nośnik SSD, z tego zaledwie połowa ma na pokładzie wyłącznie napęd półprzewodnikowy – według "Avast PC Trends Report 2019".
Otóż tylko SSD posiada 7,69 proc. działających PC, napęd hybrydowy (SSD i HDD) – 7,38 proc., a tylko HDD – 84,92 proc. Dane pochodzą ze 163 mln komputerów.
Proporcje z pewnością będą zmieniać się na korzyść na SSD, bo już obecnie większość komputerów wprowadzanych na rynek ma zainstalowane SSD. Ich popularności sprzyjają spadające ceny tych podzespołów.
Obecnie najczęściej używanym SSD w PC jest produkt o pojemności 128 GB, a dla HDD – 500 GB.Według prognozy Statista przytaczanej przez Avast, do 2021 r. dostawy SSD przewyższą sprzedaż HDD. Jednak oznacza to, że zanim udział nośników półprzewodnikowych będzie większy niż dysków twardych w komputerach będących w użyciu, upłynie jeszcze wiele lat.
