M5250 to ważący niespełna 100 gramów router, wyposażony w modem 3G.
Urządzenie jest uproszczoną wersją zaprezentowanego kilka miesięcy temu routera M5350. W porównaniu do poprzednika zamiast wyświetlacza OLED ma diody sygnalizujące status sieci bezprzewodowej, połączenie z Internetem oraz poziom naładowania baterii. M5250 wyposażono w modem 3G zgodny ze standardem HSPA+ (maksymalna prędkość pobierania danych wynosi 21,6 Mb/s, a ładowania – 5,76 Mb/s). Po zainstalowaniu karty SIM dowolnego operatora można utworzyć hotspot umożliwiający dostęp do Internetu 10 urządzeniom jednocześnie.
Router ma baterię o pojemności 2000 mAh (według producenta wystarcza na maksymalnie 6 godz. pracy). M5250 można także zasilać za pomocą portu mikro-USB. Urządzenie ma wbudowany czytnik kart mikro-SD (o pojemności do 32 GB).
