Asortyment producenta powiększył się o ośmioportowy przełącznik TL-SG1008PE zgodny z Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+).
Dzięki technologii PoE+ każdy z portów przełącznika można wykorzystać równocześnie do przesyłania danych oraz do zasilania innego urządzenia, w tym bezprzewodowych punktów dostępowych, kamer IP, telefonów IP. Łączna moc zasilania TL-SG1008PE to 124 W (maksymalnie 30 watów na port). Główna przepustowość łącza wynosi 16 Gb/s.
Według producenta zastosowane w TL-SG1008PE rozwiązania oszczędzania energii pozwalają zredukować pobór prądu do ok. 75 proc. Bez podłączonych urządzeń PoE switch pobiera 9,5 W mocy. Przełącznik ma m.in. funkcję priorytetowania.
