Producent wprowadził do sprzedaży przełącznik Easy Smart - TL-SG105E, wyposażony w pięć portów gigabitowych.
TL-SG105E można obsługiwać z pomocą aplikacji Easy Smart Configuration Utility (dla systemu Windows). Wśród dostępnych opcji jest m.in. funkcja mirrorowania portów, zapobiegania pętlom oraz diagnostyka stanu kabli. Usługa QoS jest oparta na portach lub tagowaniu 802.1p.
Urządzenie automatycznie dostosowuje pobór prądu do statusu połączenia (używanych portów) i długości kabla. Dzięki temu według producenta możliwe jest obniżenie zapotrzebowania na energię nawet o 75 proc. Funkcja automatycznej negocjacji wykrywa prędkość podłączonego do danego portu urządzenia (10, 100 lub 1000 Mb/s) wprowadzając optymalne ustawienia.
